Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

An 85-Hour Registered Prenatal Yoga School through Yoga Alliance (RPYS)

IMG_7192_copy

Prenatal yoga celebrates the mom and baby connection and the beauty and power of a woman’s changing body.  The ChildLight Yoga 85-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training prepares trainees to guide yoga students through the new motherhood year, from conception through postpartum. We cover best practices for safety, sequencing and teaching techniques for prenatal and postnatal yoga.

As a physical practice, yoga during pregnancy supports strength, endurance, and flexibility. Many expecting mothers find that regular practice improves circulation, combats fatigue, and reduces tension and stiffness in muscles and joints. As a mental discipline, yoga cultivates focus and emotional stability. Breathing exercises during prenatal yoga help mom relax deeply and connect with baby. ChildLight Yoga’s well-rounded training addresses the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of yoga for pregnancy as well as important background information on health, anatomy, nutrition, Ayurveda and more.

Our three module training format allows participants to customize their learning based on their own needs. Alternatively, when offered, the nine-day intensive allows for complete immersion in the topic with over 75 contact hours with our lead trainer.

This training is open to anyone who has taken a 200-hour yoga teacher training.
